You are initiated into a practice; you are initiated into a lineage!

Your choice in your Reiki teacher is very important and can mean the difference between a truly enjoyable lifelong practice and a meaningless weekend class.

The two most important factors are— 

Lineage: can your teachers lineage be traced back to the founder of Reiki (Mikao Usui)

and Initiations: how many initiations will you receive during the class (traditionally there are four in First degree)

 

First degree (Shoden)

This is your foundation in Reiki.

Whether you are looking to start a career in the healing arts, want to enhance your existing healing or medical practice, are looking for a deeper connection to source in your spiritual or religious practice, or for your own self healing and spiritual growth, this is a great place to start. There are no prerequisites for this class; it is the beginning teachings.

 

You will learn:

• The History of Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho

• The Reiki precepts (the secret art of inviting happiness the miraculous medicine for all diseases)

• How to do a traditional Reiki session for yourself and others

• The traditional hand positions for treating specific conditions

• How to treat your pets, plants, food, water, or any object

What will I get from this class?

• A certificate stating that you are a certified practitioner of Shoden 

• An enhanced and permanent connection with Cosmic Life Force Energy (Reiki) through a series of four initiations/energy activations

• Twelve hours of hands on experience with an experienced Reiki Master/Teacher

• Traditional energy exercises to strengthen the energy and flow of Reiki in your own body

Second Degree (Okuden)

Okuden means transmission of the inner teaching and is for those who want to literally take their practice to the next level where you will learn the more occult or esoteric side of Reiki.

​

You will learn:

• The Reiki Symbols and their functions

• How to send Reiki remotely to people, animals, and situations

• How to strengthen your connection to Reiki in order to apply a more concentrated flow of Reiki to specific areas

• How to treat mental emotional issues such as addiction, anxiety, depression, or to enhance more positive aspects of yourself like a deeper sense of joy, more patience, increased focus, etc                     

 

What will I get from this class?

• A certificate stating that you are a certified practitioner of  Okuden

• One more initiation to strengthen your connection to Reiki and to connect you to the Reiki symbols

 

1st and 2nd degree classes are held in three to four consecutive days for three to four hours each day.

1st degree certification is $300

2nd degree certification is $400
